Questions
Who can be in the comic?
Up to four people: children, grown-ups, or a mix. Brothers and sisters, cousins, friends, Mum, Dad, Grandma and Grandad, a partner or a best mate. Everyone needs their own photo, so we can draw them properly. The first person you add is the star, and everyone gets their own moment to shine.
Can our pet be in it?
Yes, up to two pets at no extra cost: dogs, cats, rabbits, guinea pigs, horses and more. Add a clear photo of each one. Pets are drawn as real animals and get their own big moments (sniffing out clues, stealing the sandwiches), but they never talk.
Is there a Christmas comic?
Yes, two: "Save the lights", where a snowstorm knocks out the town's Christmas lights and your family fix them in time for the party (no Santa), and "Help Santa", where Santa's sleigh lands in your garden with a problem only your team can solve. For a printed copy in time for Christmas, order by early December.
Is it only for children?
Not at all. Leave the children out and we write it for grown-ups: perfect for an anniversary, a wedding, Valentine's Day, Mother's or Father's Day, or a retirement. Pick "Our story" and tell us your real moments (how you met, favourite trips, funny habits), and we'll turn them into a comic.
What happens to the photos?
We use each photo once to draw that person as a cartoon character, then it's deleted. Photos are never printed, shared or used for anything else.
What age is it for?
The words are written for the youngest child in the comic, from short, punchy speech bubbles for little ones to longer, funnier dialogue for older readers. With no children in it, it's written for grown-ups.
Can I see it before it's printed?
Yes. You see your cover for free before you buy, and with a paperback or hardback, nothing is printed until you've read every page and approved it.
What's the story about?
