How it works
Every book is a brand-new story, written for your child, with them in digital illustrations on every page.
Tell us about them
Their name, age and big dream, who looks after them, their pet and how they look. Add a photo if you like, for the closest likeness.
Read your first copy
We write their story as soon as you order. In a few minutes your first copy is ready to read, with our drawn pictures, so you can check every word.
Approve the story
Happy with it? Press Approve. Not quite right? Use your one free rewrite first.
We create the digital illustrations
Once you approve, we put your child into the cover and every page (about 15 minutes) and email you. eBook: your eBook updates with the new pictures. Paperback or hardback: you see every page first, and we only print it once you press Print it.
eBook orders that aren't approved within 3 days get their digital illustrations automatically, so nobody misses out. Photos are only used to make their character, then deleted.

How long does delivery take?
eBooks are ready in a few minutes. Paperbacks and hardbacks are printed when you approve them, then posted. Most UK orders arrive in about a week.
Can I see the book before I buy?
You can see their cover and sample pages with their name and look for free. Their own story is written the moment you order, and you can read every page straight away. With a paperback or hardback, nothing is printed until you've read it and pressed Approve, and you can ask for one free rewrite first.
What's the difference between the eBook, the paperback and the hardback?
They're the same story and pictures. The eBook is a PDF you can read and download straight away on any phone, tablet or computer. The eBook + paperback and eBook + hardback options give you the eBook too, and once you've approved it we print your book and post it to you. The paperback has a soft, matt laminated cover. The hardback has a sturdy hard cover, so it's the one to choose for a gift or a keepsake.
What age is it for?
It's for children aged 2 to 10. The words are written for your child's age, from short read-aloud sentences for toddlers to longer stories older children can read themselves, and the closing page has space for them to draw their own dream.
Is every story really different?
Yes. Each book is written for your child from your answers, at the right reading level for their age. Every story follows the same message: big dreams are reached through hard work, practice and never giving up.
What if their dream is make-believe?
If they want to be a superhero or a unicorn, we turn it into the nearest real dream they could work towards, like a firefighter or looking after horses, and tell you in your book.
